The Liberia Institute for Peace & Security (LIPS) is an independent, non-partisan policy research and capacity-building institute based in Monrovia, Liberia.
We generate evidence-based research, strengthen professional capacity and create spaces for informed dialogue on the peace, security and governance challenges facing Liberia and West Africa.
Our work is grounded in the belief that sustainable peace requires more than the absence of conflict. It requires accountable institutions, inclusive governance, resilient communities, meaningful participation and policies informed by credible evidence.
